During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump made a promise that if he gets elected, he would crack down on illegal immigration like no American president had before and followed through with it big time last year, but this week, he proved that he fully intends to continue to do this in the new year.
According to Freedom Daily, 20 apartment buildings that double as so-called “Birth Hotels” have been raided by government officials in Los Angeles. It turned out that there is a multi-million dollar industry in which Chinese women pay from $40,000 to $80,000 to come to our country in order to deliver their anchor babies, and ICE is attempting to make this industry go away as soon as possible.

Even though none of them was arrested during the raids, the women are being treated as material witnesses for future prosecution of the ringleaders. According to court documents, ICE is going after the ringleaders rather than the women themselves, as the ringleaders are pocketing thousands of dollars tax-free to help Chinese nationals obtain visas and then pamper them until they deliver their babies at emergency rooms that are bound by law to care for the ones seeking medical attention.
A spokesperson for Homeland Security stated that while coming to our country order to give birth is not illegal, coming under false pretenses is, and it can be punishable by law.
“The act of coming here to have the baby is not necessarily illegal, but lying about your reasons for coming here is visa fraud,” stated Claude Arnold, special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations for LA.
Officials stated that 20 locations were raided in LA, Orange and San Bernardino counties, targeting three competing birth tourism schemes. Chao Chen and Dong Li have been accused of running a scheme out of the Carlyle Hotel, drumming up business through a website by touting the benefits of a child with U.S. citizenship: 13 years of free education, low-cost college financial aid, less pollution, and a possibility for the entire family to emigrate when the child becomes an adult.
The clients have received counseling on how obtain a tourist visa, how to fly through Hawaii, Las Vegas or Korea and not get involved into suspicious immigration officers at LA International Airport, as well as how to disguise their pregnancy in transit.
Foreigners are taking advantage of our country and it should end ASAP!
