Country music singer Neal McCoy unveiled a new song in Missouri – one he had to read as he sang. It is titled “Take a Knee My A**” and it takes aim at the national anthem protesters.
Take a look at the following video. We are warning you it includes coarse language:
As he sings, the audience stands in solidarity. Accoridng to KETK, McCoy gave an explaination of why he’ll never kneel while the national anthem is on:
I’ve been on 15 USO tours and performed in front of our troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq – across the world. So, I deny that this is a money grab. This is someone that believes in our country, that is a true patriot and does not like people kneeling and their hands not being over their hearts while the National Anthem is on. That’s what I’m about.
The singer’s priority is to recite the Pledge of Allegiance every day on social media. As of Wednesday, he has recorded himself saying it for 678 days in a row.
