To paraphrase the great William F Buckley, Jr:
“I prefer entrusting the government of our country to the first 400 people in the Los Angeles phone book than the elites in Hollywood.”
Conservative radio icon and legal thinker Mark Levin agrees, according to Conservative Review.
In speaking about the Left’s recent and probably planned infatuation with Winfrey being 2020 presidential material, Levin is impatient with the stupidity of liberal fads and went about mocking the idea.
He said the following:
“Now I object strenuously to all of this. I’m for Judge Judy. There is a whole conga line of freaks and frauds and fools that we can pick from on daytime TV.”

— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) January 9, 2018
The Simba-like elevation of hers took off after her recent speech at the inconsequential Golden Globes. Accepting the Cecil Demille Award from an industry plagued with harassers of women, the media wants us to believe that she delivered a Cicero-like ‘attack’ on her handlers, but she did invest herself as a victim of racism and prop up the lying media, applauding their “insatiable dedication to revealing the truth that keeps us from turning a blind eye from corporation and to injustice, tyrants, victims, secrets and lies. What I’m trying to say is – I value the press more than ever before as we try to navigate these complicated times.”
This is what she was being lauded for.
Levin ripped the speech and called it a farce.
The Right Scoop quotes Levin as saying that Oprah had the opportunity to unleash on Hollywood, but passed like a coward instead.
“Why didn’t she say?:
‘I’m standing here before Hollywood – they should be embarrassed of themselves to be part of a community that tolerated decades of debauchery, sexual molestation and sexual harassment.
There are many in the audience that have been aware who the perpetrators are, and still never came forward, in order to protect your careers or promote your careers. You may be sitting next to the victims of the very men who you protected at this moment! Such a disgrace!’
Now this is what you would call a SPEECH worthy of a presidential wannabe – but no – instead, we hear about Jim Crow and the NAACP, which is okay, but has nothing to do with what’s taking place currently in Hollywood.
She should have told girls watching there is NOT to stand by while others are being molested because you want to become famous, or you don’t want to rock the boat, or you don’t want to challenge the Harvey Weinsteins of the world.
No she didn’t say that.”
And at the end, what she said is more important than what she did.
