Five days ago, House Judiciary Committee Republicans called for a new special counsel — to investigate Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, and Barack Obama.
Republicans wrote a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The letter had an aim to “request help in re-establishing public confidence in America’s justice system and its investigators, specifically the DOJ and the (FBI)”:
“Our call for a special counsel is made to determine whether the criminal prosecution of any individual is validated based on the formal obligation to follow the facts wherever they lead and applying the law to those facts. We are not willing to cause more bad feelings and less confidence in the process or governmental institutions by the American people.”
Congressman Trey Gowdy voted for naming a second special counsel to investigate the previous’ administration crimes. 15 other Republicans supported him and also voted YES to requiring AG Jeff Sessions to name a SECOND special counsel to look into Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, and Barack Obama crimes during the last year’s election!

CNBC had reported that last year, the Justice Department didn’t charge Clinton or her associates for her handling of classified information while at the State Department. Then, the president threatened to appoint a special prosecutor to look into Clinton’s actions.
Comey publicly announced that the FBI’s recommendation that the Justice Department did not pursue charges against Clinton: he stated that “no reasonable prosecutor” would like to work on a case against the former secretary of state for her handling of government emails.
