There is a new voicemail recording that has been revealed by the White House that has congressional Dems literally pulling their hair out. Fed up with their obstructionism and defiance, President Trump decided it’s high time to put their ridiculousness center stage.
As CNN reported, the public line to the White House on which callers can leave messages for the president is now blaming Democrats for holding up funding for America’s troops over an “unrelated immigration debate”. This is how the message begins:
“Thank you for calling the White House, but we are sad to inform you that we are not in position for answering your call today because congressional Democrats are holding government funding, including funding for our troops as well as some other national security priorities, hostage to an unrelated immigration debate. Because of this obstruction, the government is shut down.”
As we all know, the federal government shut down after Senate Democrats and some Republicans refused to vote on stop-gap funding bill because it did not include protections for the ones in the DACA program.
Democrats have been vocal about not voting for a spending bill until they get an agreement on a fix for DACA, which protects undocumented immigrants brought to our country as children.
Republicans won’t agree to a DACA fix unless the Dems give on some border security enhancements, money for the border wall included. A top Democrat just agreed to put that issue on the table and attempt to avoid a shutdown.
Just imagine Schumer or Pelosi calling the White House and hearing that message. It does not say anything but the truth, but if you don’t like hearing it, you might need to shift your opinion a bit.
The fact that the Dems have shut down the federal government and imperiled the troops over amnesty for illegal immigrants is ridiculous! Those people live in our country illegally, and even though the issue is serious, it’s not serious enough for the government to be shut down!
It is high time for these Washington fat cats to get down to business.
Here’s the message:
